Do you know how to find your signature color? Red is my signature color. I don’t think I ever had a conscious moment where I picked it, but red has always had a gravitational pull for me.
How about you…do you have a signature color? It’s that color that says something about who you are and people immediately know you by. For some, your signature color essentially finds you, while others can cultivate their own.
If you don’t already have one, midlife is a perfect time to cultivate your own signature color. By now you’ve experienced enough life to know what you like and what inspires you, so why not put a personalized color stamp on your look?
Your signature color can be expressed in a variety of ways. Try weaving it through your accessories, jewelry and shoes in addition to your larger wardrobe pieces.
Although red is my signature color, I only own about five red clothing items, but I have several pair of red glasses, red bags, red loafers, red heels and tons of red jewelry.
Tips To Find Your Signature Color
1. Determine your preferred neutral. Do you look better in cream or crisp white?
Your neutrals help you to determine what color intensity looks best on you.
